The short version

QRGen runs entirely in your own web browser. The links, text and Wi-Fi details you type are turned into a QR code on your device and are never uploaded to our servers, never stored, and never tracked. There are no user accounts on this site and we never ask for any password or login.

What we never collect

• The content you encode — links, text, phone numbers, and especially Wi-Fi passwords stay on your device.
• The QR code images you generate or download.
• Any account credentials — this site has no sign-up or login.

What is collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and reliability. We do not use this to identify individual visitors, and we do not sell personal information.

Cookies and advertising

This site is supported by advertising. Third-party advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings, and you can control or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown.
